Call for Entries for the Third Edition of the Global Palestinian Literature Award Announced

The Global Palestinian Literature Award is an international, non-governmental prize organized in cooperation with cultural and literary unions and associations from some Islamic and other countries.

The Global Palestinian Literature Award is a non-governmental prize established in 2018 (1397 SH) and is scheduled to be held biennially with the cooperation of cultural and literary unions and a number of associations and publishing institutions from Islamic countries. The third edition of the Global Palestinian Literature Award, with the aim of introducing and presenting published literary works from around the world on the subject of Palestine and honoring writers, poets, and publishers who defend the oppressed people of Palestine through their writings, will be held in various sections.

The text of the call is as follows:

In the Name of God

The awakened conscience of freedom-loving people worldwide witnesses the heroic resistance of the Palestinian nation, particularly the steadfastness of the people of Gaza over the past eight decades, up to the brave surge of the Al-Aqsa Storm until the day of Palestine's freedom. Tomorrow belongs to the children of Gaza, and from this land, thousands of brave heroes will be born. Today, more than ever, free people around the world are concerned about the people of Palestine, and today, all are angered by the injustices, child killings, genocides, and barbarities of the inhumane Zionist Israeli regime. To honor the blood of the martyrs on the path to Palestine's freedom and resistance, and to support the oppressed people of Palestine and confront the occupation, child killing, and racial discrimination of the Zionist regime, the Global Palestinian Literature Award was established in Aban 1397 (November 2019).

The Global Palestinian Literature Award is an international and non-governmental prize organized in cooperation with cultural and literary unions and associations from some Islamic and other countries. Its aim is to identify and introduce the finest published literary works on the subject of Palestine, the resistance of the Palestinian nation, the freedom of Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and the crimes of the Zionists in Palestine, and to honor litterateurs, writers, poets, and publishers from around the world who have risen to defend the oppressed Palestinian nation with their pens.

This award belongs to the nations supporting Palestine. We invite writers, poets, and publishers from all over the world to join this cultural-literary struggle to support and defend the Palestinian nation and Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and to honor the hundreds of thousands of martyred women and innocent children.
